A checklist of things to do to ensure your website is always up to date:
- Use your latest logo and branding elements
- Edit staff listing, photos, and contact information
- Update your business contact information and contact forms
- Bring any stats, awards, accreditation, clients, testimonials, etc. up-to-date
- Make sure your product and service listing covers everything you still offer at the right price
- Review and modify any downloadable .pdfs
- Write a news post (especially if it’s been a while)
- Check and update any links you may have on your website to make sure they all still work
- Have a photo session – get new pictures of products, customers, staff, or your store
- Replace existing or add new photos (make sure you write some good keyword-rich descriptions for them)
- Add social widgets to your website
- Insert a newsletter signup form
- Examine your domain names, when they expire, and if you want to keep them
